Sound Oasis Travel Sound Therapy System, as the name implies, is geared towards people who are often out of their homes. Travel-wise, this sound machine includes a travel pouch, weighs only 4 pounds, can be powered by 4 AA batteries (not included) or by an adapter, and has a global ac adapter kit (so it could fit most sockets), and it has a headphone jack so you can use it everywhere. It even has a Jet Lag Reduction sound.
As for the other features, this travel sound machine has 17 authentic, hi-def sounds. These sounds are: Ocean Surf, North Woods, Thunderstorm, White Noise, Night Train, Spring Rain, Island Surf, Bonfire, Stream, Hidden Cove, Wind, Asian Garden, Song Birds, Harbor Swell, Bamboo Chimes, Summer Night, Cooling Fan, Rain Forest. It also has the timer which can be set at 30,60 or 90 minutes.
Other nifty features include, Voice memo for recording your own alarm or memo, alarm clock, dual time (one gives the time of your home country and the other gives you the time of the current country you’re staying in/traveling to), and a memory button that plays the last sound you listened to.

Can’t recommend this product highly enough. Recently, we took this unit on a 19 day backpacking trip to Europe. As a light sleeper, it’s always been difficult to stay in hostels and budget hotels due to the noise. With this machine, we got 19 nights of quality sleep. Running the unit on four 2000 mAHr AA batteries, we were able to get 6 nights of use on full volume, averaging 8 hours a night.
The sounds are very realistic and good volume control. It packs well
and really solved my travel issues. I have severe tinnitus and the white noise sound helps me sleep. A great product.
